Pretty Flower!

Well, wasn't the wedding yesterday soooooo beautiful!  It really did make me feel proud to be British!  I just wished that I had been in the UK to soak up the atmosphere!

Thought I would share with you a card that I made for my friend who was going back to her home country.

I was asked to make a thinking of you card - never had to do one of these before..so thought I would keep it simple and use my favourite embellishment...butterflies!!

I have finally got around to putting the pic up of the card I made with my claire's accessory peacock earrings!!  I am quite chuffed with how it turned out - LOL I only have another 5 pairs to use up....

Blokey Card

Morning all!

Hope you are all having a nice weekend! Its the start of the week for us over here (Sun - Thurs is working week), so DD is in school and I have to take my gorgeous little boy to have his induction into the big school later. Doesn't time fly when you have children? Only seems like yesterday that he was a baby :o(

Here is te card that I made for the kiddies to give Daddy for Fathers Day. Hubby has gone away for three weeks (sooooo dreading being on my own), so got them to sign it and I put it sneekly in his case last night!!



Not sure what is going on with my photos...they seem really dodgy at the mo - sorry about that!

Loving them bugs!

Good evening everyone!

Hope you are keeping well on this lovely Tuesday!

Well, at the weekend I was taking one of my daughters birthday pressies out of its box and it had some plastic little strap thingies keeping the toy in place - now, the way it was being held in place was quite good and I thought that it would be a good way to attach accetate to a card for a pop up! Here is what I came up with:

Recipe: DCWV Spring stickers, white card from stash, DCWV Spring papers, accetate.

Wotcha think? I am quite pleased with how it came out but boy, can that accetate be sharp...!!

All you need is friends!

Evening all!!

Do you ever have one of those days, when you try to make a card but the harder you try, the less inspiration you feel? This is the third card I attempted to make today - I had to do a bit, then go and have a cuppa, then do a bit more, then do some washing etc etc....

I was routing around and came across the Curvy Card template I bought years ago - I have only ever made one other card with it, so thought it was about time to give it another go!

In the end I am quite happy with it - I am loving the colour. Normally I am a brown / black / white kinda person!! But I am determined to use my old stash up!! This was some DCWV Pocket full of Posies paper that I didn't even know I had!!

Flower Fever!

Hi everyone

Hope you are having a nice Tuesday? I have been having a lovely one..my daughter is still off another week for her Easter hols, so we have been crafting together.

I am well into making my own flowers - definately think is a phase I am going through. I am trying various shapes to get the right 'petal' - think I have narrowed it down to two - one of them being the shapes that make up these flowers.

Have to say I rather love this card - I have had this paper for absolutely ages and never got around to using it, so as I have said on a previous post, I am no longer going to be buying any more papers until I have used up some of my unopened stash that I have had for years!

Swirls!

I got these cute rub ons last week from my Aunty, and thought they would be lovely just to put on a card by themselves. I put some on paper to cut out for a bit of pattern...I quite like the simplicity of it to be honest!

Flutterby Butterfly...

I am really getting into this creating because I want to, not because I have to, so today I made a little butterfly card that can be used for anything, like a 'just because' for someone.


I think I may give it to my friend as she has been really supportive to me over the past few weeks with the kids having their surgery and bringing me food supplies!!
