After finding my curvy card template a few months ago - I really wanted to use it again, so when I was asked to do a sister card, I thought it would be a great idea! I love the way this one has turned out!

Last card for Charisma

Yes, very sad day today as this will be my last challenge card for Charisma :o(

I have been with Charisma since the start up back in January 2009 and I have loved working with the ladies, however, its now time for me to move onto new things.

This weeks challenge was 'Watch the Birdie' and this is my creation.

Metal Micky!

Morning!!!

What a fab day it is today in Dubai...nice and hot and my hubby is finally home after being away for 20 days! Very happy!!

Today's challenge over at Charisma is: METAL MICKY! Basically, you have to make sure that there is something metal on your card...this can be a brad, or charm, or anything else you can think of!

I have had these little robot men for years - I got them from Hobbycraft in a sale, so it was good to pull them out of the drawer!

Bye Bye Butterfly

Helloooo!!

How are you today? I can't believe how quickly these weeks are going - can you believe that we are mid-June already?

So, this week over at Charisma this week, our challenge for you is:

ALL ABOUT BLING!!

Yep, thats right, we wanna see some bling on your card!!

My card this week is one that I have made for my daughter and her friend to give their teacher as their leaving card. Their teacher is a right trendy lady, she is lovely. So, to try and go with 'trendy' I went with the black and white theme as I love this. I did three butterflies to symbolise the teach (silver butterfly on the flower), and the two black butterflies flying away (daughter and friend). I love the way it has turned out to be honest. It also gave me great opportunity to use these pearl wire thingies that I have had for years!! Am completely loving making my own flowers at the mo and love the way this one turned out.

Charisma Sneeky Peek!

Oooh what a week I am having - only gone and got tonsillitis!! Seriously, I'm having more colds/illness since moving here to Dubai than I ever did in England!!!

Feeling all Flowery!

Hi all!

Oooh, I'm feeling all flowery today!! This could be because the challenge over at Charisma this week is:

FLOWERS!!

Talk about an easy challenge for you all!! You can submit anything into the challenge as long as it has got flowers on it!! SIMPLES!! I decided to alter a heart box that I got with some smellies in...wasn't happy with it to start with but it is growing on me!!

I love these flowers and they are really simple to make. I used to make these when I did my art at school, but never thought of putting them on here before now - will do a tutorial later today / tomorrow incase anybody is interested!!

Now, don't be getting confused - it could just mean that you have alot of thinks 'popping' off your card like flowers etc! Or make an easel card. LOL - I did both of these!! I remembered I had this stunning Basic Grey paper in my stash from so long ago and haven't used it for over a year. Am very pleased with how it came out!

Charisma #17 - Girly with Flowers

Morning all!!

What a lovely sunny morning it is over here in Dubai...shame I am stuck in the house with Mr Moo...thankfully he is feeling better and his breathing has improved dramatically, so mummy will stop worrying now!!
