YAY!!! I'm on a DT!!

Yay, Yay, Yay, what can I say?

Today I got an email from the lovely Carly to say that I had been accepted as a DT member on her new challenge blog, Charisma Cardz Challenges due to start at the end of January. I am soooo excited!!

I can't wait to start the challenges with my fellow DT members - just hope I am up to their standard!

Christmas Cheer!

Well, this has got to be my favourite christmas card I have made this year. It has a picture of my gorgeous children on it that was taken on last years Christmas Day. They do make me laugh when I see them in this picture...soooo not impressed with what they are wearing aren't they?!!!

I have put inside the card 'Christmas Cheer....!' - its for both grandparents and their godparents - hope they like it!

As this will no doubt be my last message before Christmas, I want to thank you for stopping by this past 6 months, for all the lovely comments you have taken the time to leave me and wish you all a wonderful christmas and fantastic 2009!!

Artymiss DCWV Bumper Box for only £25!!

Well it felt like christmas today when my Artymiss DCWV Bumper box arrived. It said on the ad £150 worth of items for £25, but was a bit dubious of what would be in it. However, what a nice surprise it was when I opened it to find it packed with goodies!!! There was a 12x12 stack, 2 x 8x8 stacks, loads of vellum quotes, 20 packets of dome stickers, ribbons, loads of chipboard packs and a set of embossed cards with matching envelopes. Definately worth the £25!!

If you have a bit of money to spare this christmas, I would definately recommend getting it.

16th Birthday Card

Made a 16th birthday card for my friend, but didn't want to put 16 on it...forgot I had these papers and the chipboard message seemed appropriate - 'Live life to the fullest' - given then age!!

Oooh it was really nice to make a card that wasn't for christmas!! Loved this little froggy, had it in my stash for ages, and though, why not!! Loved the colours as well.

First ever notebook from scratch (ish!)

I was asked if I could make a decorated notebook - here is what I came up with. I stripped it all apart and rebuilt and recovered it - I love these papers, looks very classy.

Thankfully my friend loved it!!

Yay - had a bit of a break from making christmas cards as my daughter had a friend's party to go to - here is the creation!!

Jingle Bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way!!

Yes, I have made yet another card using the fantastic DCWV Christmas Matstack - I think I am actually in love with it!!

I found some lovely bells in Hobbeycraft that matched the colours of this matstack rather well, so thought I would try and card with them all - they are so cute!!

I am also, at the moment, wondering whether to treat myself to some nestabilities - if anyone has got any opinions on them, please let me know!! I have no whether to get large or small, what shape etc so any advice would be appreciated!!

Fancy Fiance!

Well, I was asked to make my friend's fiance's christmas card and her orders were 'nothing slushy or with hearts' - so this is what I came up with!! She loved it thankfully!!!

Finally finished all the christmas cards - except super special ones like hubby, kids, grandparents and godparents...grrrr thats another weeks work lol!!
