Hi Ho Silver!

Evening Peeps!

Cor blimey, feels like I haven't been around in AGES!!! I hope you are all having a nice weekend! I went to West Kirby today with my mum and kids and my gosh - wellies and rain mac in the summer just ain't on!!! Kids had a great time splashing in the puddles, they are very happy to be back in England!

This birthday card I made for a friend whose son was going to be 5 and loves pirates. Now, I have had these pirate sticky thingies in my stash for sooooo long - I was sooo chuffed to be able to finally use them! I made my own map up using clipart, and scrunched it up a bit. The back corrogated card is also something I have had for about 2 years - I have so much of the stuff I don't even know what to do with it LOL!!

Recipe: Corrogated card from Craft Central, brads from Papermania, pirate stickers from stash,
DYNAMO sentiment, map made by me!

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge #62 - Baby or Child (for a little boy!)
Pollycraft Challenge #53 - Happy Birthday

Feeling all Curvy!

Hope you are all having a nice week? Well, its my turn to set the challenge this week over at Charisma Cardz. I have decided to choose:

Anything but Square!

You can make anything you like as long as its not square shaped!

After finding my curvy card template a few months ago - I really wanted to use it again, so when I was asked to do a sister card, I thought it would be a great idea! I love the way this one has turned out!

Hope to see you over there!

Metal Micky!

What a fab day it is today in Dubai...nice and hot and my hubby is finally home after being away for 20 days! Very happy!!

Today's challenge over at Charisma is: METAL MICKY! Basically, you have to make sure that there is something metal on your card...this can be a brad, or charm, or anything else you can think of!

I have had these little robot men for years - I got them from Hobbycraft in a sale, so it was good to pull them out of the drawer!

Recipe: Papermania robot & star, Papermania small and large brads, DCWV paper, silver card from stash

Hope to see you over at Charisma this week - we have a fabulous prize!

Thanks for stopping by!
