Mmmmmm....what to do with this?

Hi everyone! 

I am currently trying to downsize my house as we are going to be moving to an apartment at the beach, so everything is getting sorted.  Imagine my delight this morning when I found some jewellery that I thought I had lost 3 years ago when we moved over here to Dubai?  Sooooo happy right now!!

Also, time for a craft project me thinks, now that I can acutally SEE my craft table!!  This is what I have to play with today...






 Sooooooo, decisions decisions on what I am going to be making....

Shall be back with my creation veryyyyy soon!!

Meet Snowy!

Wellll....since the kids are off school, I thought that we would play around with FIMO....had it in my 'to do' cupboard for ages so I got it out, dusted off the packet and let it see the light of day!!

Now, I haven't worked with clay since I made a higuldy-piguldy vase on the wheel..so needless to say, my first attempt isn't perfect.  Have to say thought that I am in love with my first ever Fimo teddy!!

His name is Snowy and he is going to take pride of place on the dashboard of my car!!

Heart of Glass

Evening!

 Hope you had a nice Friday!  My Fridays are always spent the same, trying to get the kids to do their homework and then errands...what an interesting life...!!!

Anyways, wanted to share with you a picture I did as I have loads and loads of the little glass dewdrop thingies!  Never know what to do with them, and I am a heart person, so this is what I came up with for mine and my husbands dressing room - what else is there to say to each other?!!


 Recipe: glass dew drops, glue gun, silver card, deep frame, rub on quote (all you need is love),

Pretty in Pink


Evening! 

Well, what a chuffin day I have had....tried to make my own rub ons for a card and put the wrong accetate in my brand new printer....  Yep, I melted the accetate to the inside of the printer and now its fit for the bin.  I wouldn't mind, but only got it in November after begging husband to buy me a really good one for my cards....d'oh!!!
Therefore, tonights offering is not a card...its a little hanging I made for my daughters door, that she has decided has to go about her bed instead!

Again, I have handsewn them so they are not straight by any means, but at least I got to use some of my new cutie pink buttons!!




 I just noticed that I seriously need to change my watermark function...whooppps!!! Should be 2012!!!

Anyway, I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:

Baby Time!


Howdy! 

 How are you all doing today?  I'm having one of them days today...so thought would share with you something that I have made for my friends friend....its for the baby shower, she knows its a girl but no name!  After my daughter saw this she wants one with princess on...!!!

Now, I only do handstitching, and not very good handstitching at that...so I hope its ok..!!


Its got some lavender inside, its just to hang up somewhere in the room.

A Room with a View

Morning everyone!!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!!

Well, I am now back in Dubai and its sooooooooooooooo hot...glad I left the thermals and raincoat back in Liverpool!!!

My hubby moved us to a new house whilst the children and I were in the UK and I have to say he has chosen a gorgeous house.  For the first time since moving here we have got a house with a view (albeit from the childrens bedroom!!)  I thought I would share it with you.


The view is of Jumirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina - its amazing!!

Hey ho...suppose I had better go and carry on unpacking all the boxes...you wouldn't BELIEVE the state of my craft room....men and craft stuff should NEVER mix...!!!!!

Zip flowers!


Morning all!!

How you doing? Hope you are having a nice weekend!!

Well, since I have been at my parents without my craft stuff, I have been thinking of different things to do...and this is what I came up with..

ZIP FLOWERS!!




How fab do these look? I am very impressed. The large black one is my first attempt and the little brown one was my second. I love doing these so I am off to the fabric shop to get myself some more zips!!

Mind like a Sieve!


Hello all!!

How's your Saturday doing? Over in Dubai, Saturday is our Sunday (we get Friday & Saturday off), so I am now on a mad panic to get the kids school stuff ready for the last week in school!

I decided to decorate a plain black notebook that I had to keep in my handbag, as I forget everything, so I am hoping this will help me remember much more!! I have no idea why my the flowers are looking brown in the pic, they are grey!!!

Something for teacher


Evening all!

Hope you are all having a nice week. Its my daughters last day in school tomorrow, so she wanted to give her teacher something for Easter. So we ended up with some Lindt chocs, but I didn't like the packaging so came up with this gift box - how cute is it?!

Also, getting into making my own flowers as where I am living now there is only 1 craft shop and is soooooooo expensive.



Recipe: 12x12 scrapbook paper that I have had for years, tag altered from a chipboard one I have
had for ages, sentiment done on computer, ribbon from stash.

Softpencil Thursday


Hi again!

What an absolutely gorgeous image we got given today from Softpencil! Its called 'Two Cute Musicians'!

This weeks challenge was a recipe of 1, 2 & 3 of anything we wanted, so I used:

1 ribbon, 2 embellishments (frame and ribbon slider), and 3 diff coloured card.

Crafty Muse - CHANGE OF SEASONS Challenge


Hello all

What an absolute fab time I have had being a Guest Designer at Crafty Muse Challenge Blog.

This week the challenge is...

CHANGE OF SEASONS

So, after seeing their gorgeous Once Upon a Time download, I knew what had to be done... My 4 year old daughter is currently doing seasons in school, so I thought a good little thing I could create was a wall hanging for her that shows her the Change of Seasons.
