Now even though I can't craft at the moment, I thought i would remind you of this weeks challenge.

Greetings from Abu Dhabi!

Hello all!

Well, as you can see I have internet...

Can't believe that we have been here, in Abu Dhabi for a week. Its absolutely stunning!

We are going to be moving to Dubai in sometime in August, which will be fab as that is where all my craft stuff is finding its way too! I can't believe that I still have so long before I can get my hands on it all.

I am going to be posting some pics on here of cards that I have made but never put on my blog, just to keep it a bit interesting for all you lovely people who take the time to come and blog hop.

Bye Bye for Now!

Hello all

Well, the time has come for me to say goodbye for now.

We are moving to Dubai next Wednesday (22nd), and I am going to be without internet for probably about 2 months *sob*. Thats bad enough but I am also going to be without my crafting stuff for 6 weeks! *major sob*

I promise that when I get back up and running I am going to be a much better blogger and crafter (hopefully with a crafting room, fingers crossed).

Thank you all for stopping by and I hope to catch up with you again in the very near future.

Also, before I sign off, I just wanted to say a huge big thank you to the wonderful girls on the Charisma Cardz Challenge team. I have not done the past few challenges due to the move and they have all been the most understanding people which has really helped. Bit of news...

Morning all

Thought I should give you a reason as to my useless amount of blogging recently. Me and the family are moving to Dubai!!

We are going in about 6-ish weeks so very manic in my household! Selling as much as possible so that we can start all afresh over there.

I hope there are craft shops over there...or hope british companies will post out there lol!!

If anyone lives out there and has any advice, it would be appreciated!

Just put my gorgoeus Jeep Grand Cherokee up for sale - I love that car :o(

Hello!

How you all keeping? Its a beautiful day down here in Kent and what a better thing to do on sunny day than to let you know the new challenge over at Charisma Cardz Challenges.

I have not put a sentiment on the front yet as I am not sure what one I want on there. I got the idea of the flower after browsing videos on You Tube - how fab is that to be able to see how to do stuff on the web?!!!

This was a very simple and easy card to make, but I am quite happy with how it turned out - think ribbon flowers are going to be what I keep doing now lol!!! Hope to see you over at Charisma.

The best paper trimmer?

Hello all you lovely people in blog land!

Was wondering if you could give me more advice? I am after a new trimmer for my paper as my one is absolutely rubbish. Just wondering whether any of you had a good one you could recommend?

Saw a purple cow one in town today for £50 - is it worth spending that much money. Don't mind, as long as its good.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Simple Flower Card

Morning all

Sorry for my lack of card making - I am seriously having withdrawal symptoms!!

Anyway, I was asked to make a simple design card with 3 flowers on it...well I had just the thing in mind, am quite impressed with the way it turned out.

I just took different sizes of paper, distressed the edges, stuck 'em together, added a button and hey presto, there are my flowers! I used a cuttlebug embossing thingy-me-jig to do the stems - how easy was that?



Nothing like an easy card!
