Easel Card Tutorial

Hi there!

I have been contacted by a few people to advise them on how to make an easel card, so I thought I would a quick tutorial on how I make it. Everyone has their own way, but this is how I do it, as I am absolutely useless at doing measurements etc!!

Pic 1: Get two cards the size you want to make your easel card.

Pic 2: Cut the front off one of the cards.

Pic 3: Fold the front cover of the uncut card in half (fold inside so meets the middle of the card.)

Pic 4 & 5: Using the piece of card that you have cut off the other card (pic 2), you then stick this onto the folded over section to give you the slanted easel shape.

Pic 6: This is what it should look like from the front!

Hopefully that is easy to follow! If you use this tutorial, would love to see your cards!! Thanks for stopping by!

Remember, I have 3 Magnolia Fairytale Stamps up for grabs in my blogcandy - click here to go to the post to enter.

I have yet to make an easel card but I'm pleased you have confirmed my idea of how they are done.
They look fabulous but seem easy to do. I am going to make one for my sisters birthday now.
