Top Tip Tuesday - Valentines!

Morning!! 

So I guess that its time to start feeling the love.....yep, that's right, this week over at Top Tip Tuesday

I adapted how I did my christmas wreath and made this....it is now hanging above my bed!!


The pictures really don't do this justice..the colour is such a rich red, looks velvety!!

All Tied Up!

Evening all!! 

 How are you today?  I have been working on my website today...seriously, me and computers don't mix..!!!!

Anyway, since I have a broken christmas decoration that had hearts on it, and since its nearly Valentines Day, I thought why not make another card using one.

I love this card, its soooooooooooo simple!!!  LOL my husband may get lucky this year and actually get a card from me!!

Heart of Glass

Evening!

 Hope you had a nice Friday!  My Fridays are always spent the same, trying to get the kids to do their homework and then errands...what an interesting life...!!!

Anyways, wanted to share with you a picture I did as I have loads and loads of the little glass dewdrop thingies!  Never know what to do with them, and I am a heart person, so this is what I came up with for mine and my husbands dressing room - what else is there to say to each other?!!


 Recipe: glass dew drops, glue gun, silver card, deep frame, rub on quote (all you need is love),

Giving Thanks...


Hi! 

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  I am so chuffed...why??? Because it RAINED!!! I mean big huge spots of rain!  Unfortunately it was in the night, but hey ho, I'm a happy lass!!  
I made this card below for a friend as a little thanks for doing something for me recently.  Never done holes in a card before but quite happy with how it worked out.  Also, I was soooooooooo pleased that I found my spellbinders butterfly die - I thought I had lost it!   Be ready to see many more cards in the future with this butterfly on it, I love it!

Top Tip Tuesday Time!!

Hi! 

How you doing today?  I went to Zumba this morning and unfortunately I think I got slightly too into the dancing as I have done something to my back :o(  Can hardly move!!  LOL....at least not got another class until Thursday!

Swirls and Flowers

Morning everyone! 

How are you today?  Well, I have started exercising again today...cor blimey, everywhere on my body hurts lol!!! 
I made another little set of cards for another friend.  Simple flowers, stamping and embossing...now, as many of you know I am not a stamper at all...but liked that some of these swirls came out not completely inked, so when I embossed them they looks pretty cool!


 Recipe: swirls stamp, clear embossing powder, fabric flowers, little button, gems.

Little Set of Cards

Morning! 

What a gorgeous morning it is in Dubai today.  I have just been up on the Palm at Atlantis to pick up my sons birthday invitations and wowzers, the wind is blowing like you wouldn't believe.  Don't think I have ever seen the sea like this...

Isn't it gorgeous?!

Anyway, my friend asked me to make some little notelet cards for her daughter to send to her friends, so I just put this lot together.

Home is where the heart is..


Evening everyone! 

Cor blimey, I tell you, the weather over here in Dubai has gone nuts!  Today it was over 30 deg c...in January....thats just insane!!  I hope it cools down again soon, can't be doing with summer starting so early LOL!!
Made a quick new house card today...nice and simple seems to be the order of the day at the moment with me.  I can't make a fussy card anymore :o(

Pretty in Pink


Evening! 

Well, what a chuffin day I have had....tried to make my own rub ons for a card and put the wrong accetate in my brand new printer....  Yep, I melted the accetate to the inside of the printer and now its fit for the bin.  I wouldn't mind, but only got it in November after begging husband to buy me a really good one for my cards....d'oh!!!
Therefore, tonights offering is not a card...its a little hanging I made for my daughters door, that she has decided has to go about her bed instead!

Again, I have handsewn them so they are not straight by any means, but at least I got to use some of my new cutie pink buttons!!




 I just noticed that I seriously need to change my watermark function...whooppps!!! Should be 2012!!!

Anyway, I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:
