Ribbon Flowers - my fave!

Morning all you lovely crafters!!

How are you on this lovely day! Yes, I can finally see some sun coming through the storm...visibility is getting better thankfull!!

This card I made for my sister. I absolutely lurve doing ribbon flowers, I think they just look so nice! I am still undecided as to whether I should have added more detail on the front - what do you think?

Recipe:

  • DCWV papers
  • Ribbon from Poppycrafts
  • Button from stash

Hope you all have a fab day - and can I just say a huge thank you to all that have entered my candy - wow, I didn't expect it to do so well and there are still 3 weeks to go!!

Big hugs

No.. no more detail required! The card is perfect as it is!

And I'm not in the least bit surprised your blog candy is so popular... OVER-SUBSCRIBED, if you ask me!! (sulk)... Those stamps are FAB!! And I should win them.

Have I told you lately how pretty you look in your photo? And the way you glued the paper to the card is just phenomenal! Not to mention the way you creased it.. such a beautiful fold...

Hehe!! Oh well.. had to try some flattery! lol

Hugs,
Chris xx

Hi, again.. (Yes, I should be working, but I'm skiving instead.. ;o)

In answer to your question about wrapping cord around the front of the card you commented on on my blog, I use a paper-piercing tool to make holes JUST behind the spine of the card and - if necessary - use a needle-threader to pull the thread/cord/fibre/ribbon through to the other side.

Easy-peasy!

Hugs,
Chris xx
