Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday #69

Morning one and all!!

Can't believe that it is Wednesdayalready - so you know what that means? A stop over at the wonderful Julia's blog will let you nose into the wonderful messy world of us crafters!!

I have started to tidy my new craft room - well, there is all the final bits to do, but all the craft stuff I got when I was in the UK hasn't got a home yet LOL!

So this is the start of me tidying up...not very successful am I?  LOL - you can probably see the half eaten packet of choccie biccies on top of the red drawers!!  I have used the buttons and dew drops in the jars to cover the wires going up to the screen - much nicer to look at!

I have got some large silver circles from cakes that I don't know what to do with - they are like mirrors - any suggestions?

Also on the table is the stuff needed for my next tip at Top Tip Tuesday - there is a fabulous tip this week about recycling - why not go on over, leave us a tip and you could win any of the 3 prizes, including a Joanna Sheen voucher, and digis from Squigglefly and The Crafty Pad!

Thought I would share with you a card I made for my friend from her husband for their anniversary...I had literally 15 mins to make it!!  I thought the only way to do it was stickers...and I am quite happy with how it turned out.  (She liked it alot thankfully).

Recipe: Stickers that are years old, loads of bling, DYNAMO wording.

Yep...another male card!

 Hiya!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

This is another male card - this is what I have given my brother in law whose birthday is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURENCE!!

I am always getting stuck with what to do with left over bits of paper that I always keep...so I thought rolling up the bits would hide the seam that I usually cover with ribbon on a womans card.  I think it turned out quite funky really!!

 Recipe: I think it is DCWV paper, DYNAMO sentiment, odd bits of paper.

Well, its a special day in my household as my gorgeous little boy is starting Foundation in big school. My daughter is also starting in Year 2 - where oh where has the time gone since they were babies?!!

Here is a dinosaur card that I made for my friends little boy - I know he will love the wobby eyes on this one!!

A Room with a View

Morning everyone!!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!!

Well, I am now back in Dubai and its sooooooooooooooo hot...glad I left the thermals and raincoat back in Liverpool!!!

My hubby moved us to a new house whilst the children and I were in the UK and I have to say he has chosen a gorgeous house.  For the first time since moving here we have got a house with a view (albeit from the childrens bedroom!!)  I thought I would share it with you.

The view is of Jumirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina - its amazing!!

Hey ho...suppose I had better go and carry on unpacking all the boxes...you wouldn't BELIEVE the state of my craft room....men and craft stuff should NEVER mix...!!!!!

I've been driving in my car!

 Morning everyone!

So then, this is a scheduled post as I'm going back to Dubai today! I can't believe that 8 weeks have gone by so quicky :o(

This is a nice and easy post - this was a card for my friends husband who LOVE minis...LOL - now that I see pics of these maybe my cutting wasn't as good as I thought!!
