Something for teacher

Evening all!

Hope you are all having a nice week. Its my daughters last day in school tomorrow, so she wanted to give her teacher something for Easter. So we ended up with some Lindt chocs, but I didn't like the packaging so came up with this gift box - how cute is it?!

Also, getting into making my own flowers as where I am living now there is only 1 craft shop and is soooooooo expensive.

Recipe: 12x12 scrapbook paper that I have had for years, tag altered from a chipboard one I have
had for ages, sentiment done on computer, ribbon from stash.

My beautiful Princess has turned 6!!!

Wow - doesn't time fly? How is it possible that 6 years has flown by since I had my gorgeous little girl?!!

Spring has Sprung!!

Morning all!!

As I am not any good at colouring in, I decided to print and cut out on different coloured paper, which I have now found out is called Paper Piecing - don't you just love it when you learn something new?!!

Swirls!

Hi all

Hopefully normal service shall resume now as I don't have any more kids in hospital / off school or visitors!!!!

I got these cute rub ons last week from my Aunty, and thought they would be lovely just to put on a card by themselves. I put some on paper to cut out for a bit of pattern...I quite like the simplicity of it to be honest!

Sorry been AWOL for a week, my aunty is over here so have been showing her the sights. Anyway, its my turn this week on Charisma to set the challenge. As its both my kiddies birthdays this week, I have chosen:

Wow, I don't know about you, but don't you think this year is flying by?? The very short little winter we have here in Dubai (temp goes down to just 15 deg c), is well and truely over...yesterday it was 36 degrees.....oooh its getting hot!!

Flutterby Butterfly...

I am really getting into this creating because I want to, not because I have to, so today I made a little butterfly card that can be used for anything, like a 'just because' for someone.

Charisma Cardz Challenge #9 - Fairies! (plus challenge entries)

Oooh do I love challenges like this!! Anything to do with Fairies always a winner with me lol!
Our very lovely Jan has given us the the fab challenge of FAIRIES. You can use 1 or 101 - make anything you like, as long as there is a fairy on it!!

I decided to make a toothfairy box for my daughter, as her first tooth fell out the other week and we had nothing to put it in!!

Recipe: Ikea white box, Fairy Do Crafts paper, flowers from ebay, glitter, Tinkerbell cut out, beads,

beaded bee from ebay, Fairy Do Crafts brad, little white flowers from LuLu!

This did start off as a plain white box from Ikea - have never altered anything like this before and am quite happy with how it turned out, although it completely changed from what I thought it would be!!
